Locals and second homeowners agree that the North Upper Truckee area is one of the finest areas to be found anywhere in the Tahoe Basin for peace and quiet, parcel size and overall convenience. Most homes lie within a 15 minute radius of all South Lake Tahoe points of interest including Camp Richardson, Fallen Leaf Lake, Emerald Bay, Stateline Casinos and all major snow sport resorts.
Angora Highlands is also considered a portion of the North Upper Truckee neighborhood but is distanced by a mile or so from the main area. Angora Highlands is one of the most sought after real estate prizes anywhere at Lake Tahoe and for good reason. Privacy, exclusiveness, seclusion and many prime Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf lake view properties make this a very unique area.
